Marie said we had to drive out to The Two Peaks, her local beauty spot (again visible from her house), and definitely worth it. Then it was a drive around the area, over the Franschhoek pass and down to Hermanus on the coast (famous for whale watching at the correct time of year) and back for a beautiful drive right along the edge of the coast of False Bay. Great scenery virtually all the way.
